Full membership is open to all persons over the age of 16. Full members have full voting rights and are eligible to serve on committees. Subscriptions are due in July after the AGM for the following season, which starts in September.

LEEDS ARTS CENTRE (LAC):

LAC was formed in 1945 as an amateur society to encourage interest in the arts;

LAC presents a varied programme of drama productions each year;

LAC has a Green Room for social functions and presenting entertainment in the rehearsal rooms to give members experience in both acting and directing;

LAC circulates a newsletter regularly to keep members up to date with activities;

LAC membership automatically confers membership of the Leeds Civic Arts Guild.

Extracts from the Constitution:

Persons desiring to become members of the Centre shall submit their names in writing to the Secretary on such form or forms as shall from time to time be devised by the Committee.

The Committee shall have the power at any time to refuse the admission of any person to membership.

Members shall abide by all the rules of the Centre and of the Leeds Civic Arts Guild and where applicable the Leeds City Council.

The Committee shall have the power to strike off the name of any member not complying with the Constitution or doing anything detrimental to the interests of the Centre.
