Green Room
Green Room events include play readings, sketches, workshops and performances of short plays.
They provide an opportunity for new or inexperienced members to try their hand
at all aspects of theatre work - including acting, directing, designing, stage management,
props, costumes, lighting and sound - without committing to a main stage production.
They also
provide a showcase for members to experiment with all kinds of drama which would not necessarily
be suitable for the main stage.
The Green Room also organises play readings and social activities, like parties and theatre trips.

Albert Room of the Leeds Town Hall. The event was organised by Martin Key (top picture)
and gave aspiring directors the opportunity to direct a series of short plays as part of a full evening's entertainment.
