After Midnight Before Dawn

by David Camptondirected by Ken Taylor
7.30pm • Wednesday 26th – Saturday 29th April 2017
The Carriageworks Main Stage

Some time in the late 16th or early 17th Century, a group of six women are confined in a prison cell. They are to be hanged at dawn for witchcraft.

Only one of them appears to be unmoved by the situation. When questioned, she is certain that since she is a real witch, Satan will not let her hang.

The other women all implore her to help them achieve the protection of Satan, with unforeseen results.

After Midnight – Before Dawn is being performed as part of a double-bill with The Rose and Crown.
