The Mill on the Floss
Tom and Maggie Tulliver, siblings growing up at Dorlcote Mill on the River Floss, have an intense and abiding bond.
Maggie is intelligent, wilful and passionate; Tom is a practical, unforgiving boy, not cut our for the ‘book learning’ expected of him. As they grow, events strain their relationship. Both make choices dictated by their characters and their places in the world, driving the wedge deeper between them and culminating in tragedy.
George Eliot’s novel is no drawing-room affair of manners and this thrilling adaptation is theatrical and physical.
The Mill on the Floss is now in rehearsal, but there are still opportunities to be involved backstage. To find out more, please contact us.
