New members of Leeds Arts Centre are always welcome, and you don’t need any prior experience. There’s no audition to join, but all acting roles are cast through an open audition process. Our minimum age for membership is 18 years.
Membership costs £50 (£30 for students or unwaged) for a year. Members receive a monthly newsletter, can become involved with any aspect of our productions, have full voting rights at general meetings, and are eligible to serve on committees.
If you would like to know more, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will arrange for you to meet us at one of our performances, green room or social events – we encourage those interested in joining to come to an event first, to see what the group is like. We aim to answer emails within a few days, but as we’re all doing this in our spare time, it can sometimes take a little longer!

For the time being, we would request that membership forms are submitted to us by email, since we do not have access to mail delivered to the postal address on the form.
In general, we would encourage anyone considering sending in an application to attend one of our activities or events first, in order have a chance to meet up with us and learn more about our group. This also gives us an opportunity to arrange a convenient way to get your membership application to us.
