We use a number of different venues for our performances, rehearsals and social events – you can find details of the main ones here.
If you need more information to help you find one of our activities, please contact us.
We have a rehearsal space on the second floor of City Exchange on Albion Street – around five minutes’ walk from the train station and about ten minutes from the bus station. Nearby car parks include Trinity Leeds on Swinegate, and Q-Park on Albion Street or Sovereign Square.
We use the function room downstairs at the Crowd of Favours for social events – the pub is located down a side street opposite the York Street end of the bus station, or around ten minutes from the train station. Nearby car parks include the multistories at Victoria Leeds or NCP The Markets; there are also a limited number of spaces in the small council-run car park at Maude Street.
In addition to the two performance spaces at the Carriageworks, we also use the rehearsal rooms at the venue – which is located in the city’s Civic Quarter, around ten minutes on foot from the train station or fifteen minutes from the bus station. Nearby car parks include the council-run Woodhouse Lane, the Rose Bowl under Leeds Beckett University, or Q-Park at The Light.
We use the Oak Room upstairs at the Original Oak for social events – the pub is on Otley Road in Headingley, a couple of miles out from the city centre.
We use the function room upstairs at The Pack Horse for some of our play readings – the pub is just off the Briggate, ten minutes’ walk from the train and bus stations. Nearby car parks include Trinity Leeds on Swinegate, and Q-Park on Albion Street, Sovereign Square or at The Light.
