This February, we present Yasmina Reza’s God of Carnage: a masterclass in how not to parent. What starts as a civil, “adult” meeting to resolve a playground fracas between two children quickly desolves into a hilarious, high-stakes collision of egos. Beneath the thin veneer of espresso and clafoutis, the gloves aren’t just off... they’ve been shredded.
To keep the Carnage fresh we are performing with two revolving ensembles. With our casts being shuffled throughout the week, you never know exactly who will be throwing the punches. It’s a different kind of disaster every night, come see who survives the chaos.
Tickets for God of Carnage are not currently on sale, but will be available through the Leeds Ticket Hub and the Carriageworks Box Office nearer to the production dates. Keep an eye on this site, or at www.carriageworkstheatre.co.uk for details of availability.
This amateur production of God of Carnage is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Ltd on behalf of Samuel French, Ltd.
